Golden Spike has specialized in modelling and running trains which operate between Chicago and the Pacific.

Furthermore we are using motive power and cars from smaller companies e.g. mining companies in the western states.

On the layout we use locomotives and cars from all over North America including Mexico just like the real world. We are covering the period from about 1940 untill the present day.

We are modelling in HO. Steamlocomotives as well as diesellocomotives. We do not use catenary.

The layout is operated with DCC.

It's OK to be a member of the club without having one single piece of railroad equipment. The important thing is the interest!
